Mr. Eck has been extensively involved in bankruptcy cases representing secured and unsecured creditors. He represents the firm’s clients in all types of bankruptcy, including Chapter 7 liquidations, Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 12 family farmer reorganizations, and Chapter 13 individual debt reorganization cases. He has assisted creditor clients with confirmation hearings, relief from stay, priority disputes, plan confirmation, adversary proceedings, contested matters, non-dischargeability actions and other matters affecting creditor clients.

In addition to bankruptcy, Mr. Eck’s practice includes commercial litigation with an emphasis on creditor’s rights, such as collections, foreclosures, garnishments and repossessions. He counsels the firm's banking and mortgage loan servicing clients regarding foreclosure, default, title clearance, real estate and loss mitigation issues. He also represents title insurers and their insured in clearing title to real estate throughout Iowa and Nebraska.
