Matthew D. Hammes is a member of the firm's litigation section, where his practice concentrates on the defense of insurers and their insureds throughout the state and federal courts of Nebraska and Iowa.  Mr. Hammes' representation includes the defense of first and third party claims involving owner controlled insurance programs, commercial general liability policies, inland marine policies, workers' compensation, products liability actions, wrongful death claims, construction accidents, automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability actions and claims involving arson.  He represents insurers and their insureds through all phases of litigation, including bench and jury trials, mediation, arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and Arbitration Forums, and civil appeals.
